How do I get Featured?

How much does it cost to be featured?

Nothing up front. Your business is featured on our website for a 24 hour period. We only get paid if you acquire customers. In contrast to most marketing campaigns (i.e. yellow pages, newspaper, radio, TV and even online) that require upfront payment without guaranteeing you customers, Tout! only charges fees based on the number of customers you acquire. If the deal does not reach an agreed upon critical mass, you don’t incur any fees. Because we feature a variety of businesses, each deal is negotiated on a case-by-case basis. The fee is based on the total number of units sold.

How do I decide at what purchase levels to offer what discounts?

We understand that each business and situation is unique so we will work with you to determine the optimal discounts to offer at each different volume level. In addition, we will utilize our experiences in assessing the appropriate volume and price discounts. You can see some general guidelines by clicking on the Get Your Business Touted webpage.

How does Tout! make money?

If and only if you acquire customers, will Tout! keep a pre-negotiated percentage based on each purchase made.

How and when do I get paid?

Tout! collects customer payment for you, distributes Tout! vouchers to the customers, and mails you a check.

When will I be featured?

Tout! will do its best to accommodate you on when your business and deal are featured. However, Tout! reserves the right to feature a specific business and deal (just in case there are time-sensitive deals that come to our attention at the last minute.) We use various metrics and past trends to determine the placement of each deal. In addition, we will make sure to contact you before we feature your business so that you are prepared for your specific campaign.

Who writes the Tout! review? How does it work?

We ask one of your loyal customers (what we call a Touter) to write a review of your business. We provide a basic form with general guidelines for your loyal customer to complete. Tout! will make any editorial changes as necessary and reserves the right of approval. However, we will also take into account your feedback. There are optional fields for you to submit any information you think is relevant about your business, any reviews that have been previously written about your business, awards and other noteworthy accolades. Can I get the mailing list from you so I can use it later?

Unfortunately, our privacy policy restricts us from sharing our email list with third parties.
